Here we are 321 days into the year, 44 days left for 2013 and only 37 days 3 hours and 20 minutes until Christmas YIKES! Where has the year gone?
Many of the blogs that I follow have been talking about holiday cards now for a few weeks - Vicky P over at Clips-N-Cuts did this cute card with stamps from Penny Black. As you all know I love to use what I have so here is my take on "NOEL". Happy crafting until next time
Supplies used: Garden Green, Handsome Hunter and Ruby Red ink (Stampin-up), Snowflakes Embossing folder (Cuttlebug); Whimsy Caps (CTMH); various snowflakes (Hero Arts) and Red Baker's Twine (EK Success).
Scrapbooking, card making, photography, craft ideas food and family, they are what give us inspiration for our ideas and from those ideas come great projects, just look around you to find the inspiration you need. Come play, whether you are a beginner, intermediate or expert (hey I want to learn from you as well) there is surely something here to interest you

WOYWW
As you can see by previous posts I like to mention who has given me inspiration to post on a particular subject, and link them so that others know about them too.
Lindsey W.- The frugal crafter is one of my favorite go to spots when I feel overwhelmed and need to get back on track. She is funny and talented with a little wisdom thrown into her videos (kinda like a head slap Denozo style).

Last night as the cleaning began on my work station, and organization of crafting supplies I realized that Holy Cow I have so much stuff, I've been stuffing it into bins (5 x55 gallon to be exact). Its time to thin - donate, use, give away or throw away. As I was putting things into piles for those categories I realized that I had scrapped pages and never put them into albums. Yes I immediately stop sorting and grabbed the nearest empty scrapbook and off we went. 2 hours later I had the most beautiful book - my boys immediately started looking thru it and commenting that yes they remembered all of the pictures. What a wonderful conversation that was (my boys are 16 and 8). Its great whenever you can get a teenager to say more that 3 words in a conversation.
Here are some pictures of the finished product.

It really was a great night. Hope you enjoy and know that it is NEVER TO LATE to create memories. Until next time - Happy Crafting.

Christmas presents for the girls
Hope everyone has had a great Holiday so far. For some of my close friends I made these wonderful picture frames. Two of them where made in browns, one in teals, blues and green and the last (which is still in work) red, black and white.
The picture frame is 11x16, the larger squares are 2 3/4 inches and the smaller squares are 2 1/2 inches. The lettering is cut on my cricut and is 1 1/2 inches in whatever style you like (one of these is from the starter cartridge George, the other is from the Hannah Montana cartridge). Leaf and bird punch are from Stampin up, most of the punches are either EK success or Stampin up. the words BLISS, ALWAYS, and LOVE were printed on the computer using the Font IMPRINT MT SHADOW size 24. Ink around the edges is Stampin Up Close to Cocoa.
Thanks to Nancy for loaning me the bird punch and giving me the idea

New cards
Afternoon everyone - Once again our monthly card group sat down to make some cute Christmas cards (all the credit goes to Nancy for the design). One of the things I love about getting together with this group of ladies is that we always have someone new with us that reminds us why we love doing what we do, plus the conversation is always fun. Most of the supplies (stamps, paper, punches, inks and emboss folder) are Stampin-up, a few things ( ribbon and embossing powder) were not. We made 10 cards total (5 designs, 2 of each design). Here are the cards
After the our group got together, I also went down to Ben Franklin's for their Saturday Make-n-Take card while this is a cute card I don't think I would ever buy the stamp.
